Privacy

The short version: your images, videos and projects never leave your computer. We don't have accounts yet, we don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell anything about you.

Who we are

showcasehub (including its first tool, Motion) is run by Mohit Kukreja, an individual based in India. You can reach us at [email protected].

Your work stays on your device

Motion runs entirely in your browser. The images and videos you add, the projects you make and the videos you export are processed and stored on your own computer, in your browser's storage. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. If you clear your browser's data, they are deleted; Motion lets you download a backup file to keep them safe.

What we do collect

• Your email address, if you give it to us to hear when Pro launches or about the founding lifetime seats. We use it only for that, and every email has a way to unsubscribe. It is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and sent through our email provider (Resend).
• Anonymous usage counts, such as which pages are visited and which features are used, so we can tell what to improve. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog, both configured without cookies; they do not identify you personally.
• Error reports when something breaks in the app, so we can fix it. We use Sentry. Reports describe the error and your browser, never the content of your images, videos or projects.
• Basic server logs kept by our host, Cloudflare, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, which they use to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser's own storage holds your projects and settings on your device, and nothing in it is sent to us.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the email address we hold, or unsubscribe at any time, by writing to [email protected]. Your projects live only on your device, so you are always in control of them.

Payments, later

When paid plans arrive, payments will be handled by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. We will never see or store your card details. This page will be updated before then.

Children

showcasehub is made for designers and isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll email people on our list.
